Leh- Ladakh, a high-desert city in the Himalayas, is the capital of the Leh region in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir state. Originally a stop for trading caravans, Leh is now known for its Buddhist sites and nearby trekking areas. Massive 17th-century Leh Palace, modeled on the Dalai Lama’s former home (Tibet’s Potala Palace), overlooks the old town’s bazaar and mazelike lanes.

Day 01: Leh

On arrival at the airport you will be met by our representative & transfer to hotel. Full day for the acclimatization which is 3500 Mtrs. above sea level. In the evening hsort walk around leh bazaar. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Leh-Monasteries

Day excursion to the famous monasteries it is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive to hemis Monastery which is one of the most famous monastery of the ladakh region. On the way back visit to shey Palace. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Leh-Alchi-uletokpo(75kms)

Leave for Uletokpo camping which is one of the most beautiful camping. Spot in the Ladakh region on the way visit Spituk monastery which is just 5 Kms. From Leh town. Continue drive to Alchi monastery is the only monastery in the ladakh on flat ground. By the lunch time you will reach Uletokpo. Evening enjoy to sit on the bank of river coming down from the Ridzong side. Dinner & Overnight at camp.

Day 04: Uletokpo- Lama Yuru-leh(180kms)

Leave Uletokpo for Leh by surface, enroute visit Lamayuri & Khaltsi. From Here another 22kms drive will take your to Lamayuru. The oldest & spectacularly set Lamayuru monastery founded in 10th century. Visit the monastery. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh which take about 4/5 hours drive, on the way back we stop at magnetic hill. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Leh- Khardongle pass-Leh(85kms)

After breakfast full day execursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600Mtrs. And has been recoreded in Gunnies Book of thew owlrd records. At the top enjoy the natural beauty of snow capped mountain. In evening back to the hotel. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: Leh- Pangong lake- Leh

Leave early morning at 5 am to pangong lake through chanagla pass 5486 Mtrs. While ascending chanagla pass 5486 mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive –Durbuk & from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake, Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the lake. This famous blue brackish lake of pangong is 5/6 Kms wide & over 144kms long with half of its running the other side of “indo- china Border” . One rarely feels so close to nature & environment & the sceanery is unforgettable. In the late afternoon drive back to leh. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
