Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It’s known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife. National parks like Eravikulam and Periyar, plus Wayanad and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys and tigers.

Some of the best places to visit in Kerala are Alleppey, Munnar, Thekkady, Wayanad, Fort Kochi, Kovalam, Idukki, Kuttanad among the many other tranquil beauties in the state. Apart from these Kerala also offers many waterfalls, wildlife sanctuaries, cultures, festivals, and estates to visit.

Day 1 : Arrival at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station

Welcome to Gods Own Country, upon arrival our ever smiling representative will greet you and will later escort you to the hotel in Cochin. Check in and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later, move for a half day city leisurely walk around the city of Cochin. Cochin which is having the best preserved history of colonial times and the ideal way to bring it alive is to take a walk down memory lane. Surrender to the comfort of your bedroom at the hotel for the night as your tour starts the day after.

Day 2 : Cochin– Munnar

After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Munnar. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel. On the way to Munnar the sightseeing places are Rubber Plantations, Pine Apple Plantations,Cheeyapara waterfalls, Spice Garden Visit, Elephant safari and Cultural shows like Kathakali, Kalaripayattu etc.

Day 3 : Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, go for Sightseeing. Munnar sightseeing places are Rubber Plantations, Pine Apple Plantations, Cheeyapara waterfalls, Spice Garden Visit, Elephant safari and Cultural shows like Kathakali, Kalaripayattu etc. And you can visit the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town and the town market. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.(Eravikulam National Park is shut from 15 Jan to 15 Mar; during these dates Park visit cannot be done but all other sightseeing shall be provided as per itinerary). Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 : Munnar - Thekkady

After an appetizing breakfast, check out of the hotel. Drive to Thekkady and reach by afternoon. Check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or take an optional boat cruise on periyar lake. (The opening and closing timings for Periyar Lake, Thekkady is from 6:30 am and 5 pm. However, one can enjoy boating ride at Periyar Lake at stretch of 1.5 hrs per ride and they charge per person Rs. 200 that you have to pay directly. And the boating timings for the same are - 7:30 am to 9:00 am; 9:30 am to 11:00 am; 11:15 am to 12:45 pm; 1:45 pm to 3:15 pm; 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm respectively). And I would love to suggest you to make a trip to Thekkady simply for the fact that one of India’s most popular wildlife reserves Periyar National Park is located in this region of Idukki District. The major attraction of this national park is the huge population of tigers. If you go for a boat ride in this park, you would be certainly blessed with tiger spotting. After sightseeing stay hotel.

Day 5 : Thekkady –Alleppy

After Breakfast check out from the Hotel and proceed to Alleppey. Check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or take an optional Houseboat cruise on the backwaters. And go for sightseeing trips in Alleppey. Alleppey Beach, Alleppey Light House, Revi Karunakara Memmorial museum, Alleppey International Coir Museam, Pathiramanal Island, Arthungal Basillia, Ambalappuzha Temple. After sightseeing stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : Alleppy Houseboat

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey will be reached by afternoon. Check in to houseboat for an overnight cruise through the unique back waters of Kerala. Houseboat will be you transportation for the day and accommodation for the night. Glide along the narrow canals placed by the infinite greenery imparted by coconut palms; watch the gentle and soothing greenery of paddy fields and the village folk at work. Relax on board listening. Overnight stay at Houseboat.

Day 7 : Alleppy Houseboat – Drop @ Cochin Airport/ Railway Station

After breakfast Checkout from the Houseboat and proceed to Cochin. The guest can go for rest sightseeing trips in Cochin. Drive to Cochin Airport/Railway Station.
